TNPSC Educational Qualification for Assistant Librarian

1. Assistant Librarian

A Degree of M.A., or B.A.,(Hons) in Sanskrit of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants.

2. Junior Epigraphist

A Degree of B.A. in Tamil or B.Litt (Tamil) of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants.

Note: (i) The educational qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies viz. SSLC + HSC/Diploma + U.G. degree or its equivalent + P.G. degree or its equivalent as stipulated in Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification. (ii) Applicants claiming equivalence of qualification to the prescribed qualification should upload and submit evidence for equivalence of qualification in the form of G.O. issued prior to the date of this notification when called for, failing which, their application will be summarily rejected. The G.Os regarding equivalence of qualification issued after the date of this notification will not be accepted for this recruitment A list of Equivalence of qualification in the related subject is available in Annexure – I.

TNPSC Civil Judge 2018 Eligible Qualification Notification

Eligible candidates to check their education qualification to get Civil Judge in 2018

Must possess a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission, or any other equivalent qualification and enrolled in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu or in the Bar Council of any other State in India
Must be practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in any Court on the date of Notification for recruitment to the post and must have so practiced for a period of not less than 3 years on such date.
Must be an Assistant Public Prosecutor having not less than 3 years of experience as an Advocate and / or Assistant Public Prosecutor.

Law Graduates Fresher

Must be a fresh Law Graduate possessing a degree in Law from a recognized University as mentioned in Clause-I (i) above, (ii) Must be eligible to be enrolled as an advocate. (iii) Must have secured an overall percentage of marks in acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree of Law as below:-
45% Marks in case of Reserved Categories (i.e SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs(OBCMs) and BCMs).
50% Marks in case of Open Category (i.e Others).
Must have obtained the Bachelor’s Degree of Law within a period of three years prior to the date of notification.
