For the posts of Assistant Director & Child Development project Officer
- SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories - No Age limit
- Others [i.e. applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] - 30 Years (Should not have completed)
- Assistant Director - A Post Graduate Degree in Home Science or Psychology or Sociology or Child Development or Food and Nutrition or Social Work or Rehabilitation Science.
- Child Development Project Officer - A Degree in Nutrition (or) Home Science (or)A degree with a PG Diploma in Rural Services awarded by the Gandhigram University.
Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil. (For details refer to Section 21 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and para. 11 of the Commission‘s Instructions to Applicants.
Certificate of Physical Fitness
Applicants selected for appointment to the posts will be required to produce a certificate of physical fitness in the form prescribed below:
- Standard of vision – Standard – III or Better
- Form of certificate of physical fitness – Form prescribed for executive posts.
